LACERA´S REQUESTS FOR PROPOSALS
LACERA conducts requests throughout the year for various business needs - investments, legal, online services, and others. Each RFP will have its own web page with submission directions. You will be able to view all the specific information online: the desired qualifications, deadlines, contracts, and other information. Some RFPs will have a Q&A page created from the bidders' questions.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL – RETIREE HEALTH CARE BENEFITS PROGRAM CONSULTING SERVICES

ATTENTION: The RFP has been amended.

2-11-10:

• We have changed the “Calendar of Events” section of the RFP to reflect that the Finalist Bidder Presentations scheduled to take place in front of the Board of Retirement on March 11, 2010 has been placed on hold.
• We have changed the “Calendar of Events” section of the RFP to reflect that the scheduled Board of Retirement selection of the winning bidder on March 11, 2010, has been placed on hold.

• We have changed the “Point-of-Contact” information from Lita Payne, Director to Leilani Ignacio, Administrative Services Officer. This change only is effective February 1, 2010; all other changes are effective immediately.
• We have changed the “Calendar of Events” section of the RFP to reflect that the Finalist Bidder Presentations will take place in front of the Board of Retirement on March 11, 2010.
• We have changed the “Calendar of Events” section of the RFP to reflect that the Board of Retirement will select the winning bidder on March 11, 2010.
• We have changed the RFP to reflect that finalist bidders will be required to make one oral, in-person, presentation to the Board of Retirement, instead of the Insurance, Benefits and Legislative Committee.

9-11-09:
We have changed the Q&A format and extended the deadline to submit questions.

The Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association (LACERA) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide consulting services related to LACERA's Retiree Health Care Benefits Program. Completed responses must be received no later than Friday, October 30, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. (PST). Responses received after the specified deadline may be considered for evaluation solely at the discretion of LACERA.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL – ANNUAL ATTEST AUDITS OF LACERA'S FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
The Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association (LACERA) is requesting proposals from qualified certified public accounting firms to perform annual attest audits of LACERA's financial statements. The “Intent to Bid and Minimum Qualifications Certification” must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. PDT, June 5, 2009, to participate in the bidding process.

The purpose of each RFP is for the Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association to review the capabilities of potential providers of securities lending services for LACERA's estimated $3.78 billion in Corporate Bonds and $1.19 billion in U.S. Equity securities available for loan.
