RIDESHARE AWARD
LACERA has been recognized for its rideshare program with the following honors: Outstanding Group Achievement 2010 Rideshare Diamond Award, Outstanding Group Achievement 2009 Rideshare Diamond Award, Shoestring Program 2008 Rideshare Diamond Award, and Innovative Rideshare Program 2005 Rideshare Diamond Award.
LACERA implemented a rideshare program on July 1, 2005. The program features new and improved incentives, financial rewards, and benefits for LACERA employees.

PPCC AWARD
LACERA received the Public Pension Coordinating Council’s (PPCC)* Public Pension Standards 2010 Award, in recognition of meeting professional standards for plan funding and administration as set forth in the Public Pension Standards. The Public Pension Standards are intended to reflect minimum expectations for public retirement systems management and administration and serve as a benchmark by which all defined benefit public plans should be measured. LACERA is an eight-time recipient of this important award.

Pasadena Chamber of Commerce
LACERA was the recipient of Pasadena Chamber of Commerce and City of Pasadena, Pasadena Model Employer of the Year in July 2009.
