- Safety Plan B — Contributory (Note: Safety Members are automatically enrolled in this plan)

CONTRIBUTION RATES
Member contributions are based on your nearest age when becoming a member of LACERA. See the different contribution rates for General Members and Safety Members.
RETURNING MEMBER
Some returning employees may restore to a previous retirement plan, though each member's circumstances are unique and require special attention. Talk with a LACERA Retirement Benefits Specialist at 1-800-786-6464.
