Returning to County Employment
If you decide to return to County employment after retiring, certain restrictions apply.
Power of Attorney
LACERA has a Special Durable Power of Attorney form you may be interested in.
Survivor
Your LACERA retirement may extend to your surviving spouse or domestic partner. Retirees are also entitled to a $5000 Death/Burial Benefit.
SURVIVOR & DEATH BENEFIT INFORMATION CARD
This card should be filled out by the LACERA member and kept with important papers. The card contains basic member information and LACERA's phone number. This card could come in handy in the event of a member's death.
