LOCAL 1014 FIREFIGHTERS HEALTH AND WELFARE PLAN
If you have been covered by the Firefighters Local 1014 medical plan while employed by LA County, you may continue this coverage after retirement.                                           

Did you know that LACERA can deduct your premiums for your Local 1014 Firefighters medical policy from your monthly retiree check?  If you would like to take advantage of this please follow the steps below.  

1) Contact Local 1014 and follow their payroll deduction procedures. 

2) After your deduction request is processed by Local 1014 they will forward a transmittal
   form authorizing LACERA to make the deductions.

3) If you decide to add, change or cancel any deductions from your monthly LACERA check
   you must contact Local 1014.
