A: SafeCode is a 6-12 letter word of your choosing that acts like a key to let you into a secure area. Once you are registered on Safe2Login, return to My LACERA, click on your correct SafeCode and proceed to sign in to My LACERA. (9-2-08)
4. Q: Why do I have to do this?
A: So you’re doubly protected. LACERA’s mission is to produce, protect and provide the promised benefits. As additional effective security measures become available, we add them for you. We can never be too careful with your private information. (9-2-08)

A: Your private information is protected online by our authorization process, firewalls, and encrypted coding for both sending and receiving information. A: Green means go! You can sign in to My LACERA with confidence. All three Safe2Login indicator lights must be green for your connection to be secure: Server, Session and Computer. A: Three failed attempts to sign in with the wrong SafeCode will result in your account being locked. If this happens, Safe2Login will automatically email you a special reactivation code.
