RFI: Death Audit and Data Cleansing Services

The Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association (LACERA), a $71 billion public pension fund, is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide death audit, data cleansing services, and the continuous monitoring of member statuses. LACERA invites qualified firms to respond to this RFI (Respondent).

Scope of Service

LACERA will provide payee information to the vendor monthly consisting of 72k+ members. The vendor would then review the file on a weekly basis, auditing for death information. Once a potential death is determined, the firm would then validate the death through other non-death-related resources available to the firm. All confirmed deaths would be communicated to LACERA by a secured automated means. Discrepancies in member data must also be communicated to LACERA by a secured automated means.

Submission Requirements

If your firm chooses to respond to this RFI, please send the Intent to Respond, Exhibit A, via email to Sylvia Botros, by 5:00 p.m. PDT, 4/21/2023. Failure to send your Intent to Respond may disqualify your firm from submitting a response to this RFI.

RFI submissions must be delivered in PDF or Microsoft Word format via email to sbotros@lacera.com by April 21, 2023, no later than 5:00 PM PDT. In addition, respondents must send THREE bound copies of the written response to:
